Award-winning author, speaker and professional historian, Emma Samuel Etuk is the President of Emida International Publishers. A graduate of Howard University in Washington, D.C., he obtained a Ph.D. in United States History, with minors in African History and International Relations.

Formerly a civil servant, Etuk attended the Polytechnic , Calabar, in Nigeria, where he received a Higher National Diploma in Estate Management. He also received a B.A. degree in Business Administration from Malone College, Canton, Ohio, an M.A. in Church History from Ashland Theological Seminary; and did graduate work at the Institute of Church and State at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. At seminary Etuk studied under Drs. David a. Rausch, Douglas Chismar and Jerry R. Flora.
